Core Aeration and Overseeding - A Clean Cut Lawn Care, LLC

Core Aeration and Overseeding

We will visit your property with an aerator that will pull plugs of soil out of your lawn. These tiny holes allow more air, water and sunshine to permeate through the soil layer. Plus, it opens up the soil to receive grass seed. Don’t worry about those small plugs of soil either. They will dissolve back into your lawn the next time you irrigate it or it rains.

Bermuda grass core aeration and overseeding:

Bermuda grass, like other warm season grasses, starts to grow vigorously in the spring, and continues that pattern throughout the summer months. In the spring, you may find bare patches throughout your Bermuda lawn that need to be overseeded.

At A Clean Cut Lawn Care LLC, we recommend that you get your Bermuda lawn aerated every spring to open up the soil as well as to prepare it to receive grass seed.

Fescue lawn core aeration:

After the heat and humidity of our Arkansas summers as well as to prevent lawn diseases, we recommend that you have your fescue yard core aerated and overseeded. Cool season grasses, such as fescues, continue to grow until the first freeze. The fall months make the perfect time to core aerate and reseed your fescue lawn. It gives your new fescue grass time to develop strong roots before the first freeze.
